The Weather in Malta

 

The climate in Malta is typically Mediterranean, with hot dry summers, warm and sporadically wet autumns and short, cool winters with adequate rainfall. July and August are Malta's hottest months with daytime temperatures usually above 30°C (86°F) and quite often also above 35°C (95°F). Winds in Malta are frequent, the most common are the cool northwesterly, the dry northeasterly and the hot humid southeasterly. The relative humidity is consistently high and rarely falls below 40°.
